This doodle I made last Friday is currently the highest rated post in the Super Mario World Miiverse community. I’m both flattered and embarrassed. I’m no good at drawing with neither the 3DS or Wii U stylus. Yet this drawing will go on record for being my most globally exposed piece of art. Hahaha.
And thanks Emily Rogers for tweeting it.
I love Nintendo games. That’s whats disappointing about them trickling in at one a week. I look so forward to playing Earthbound again though.
Few drawings from a little art exchange.

I wish more anime looked even half this fun.
Your mascot is really cute! What is it?
I assumed you’re referring to the worm like creature I’ve got on my banner.
Well, it’s a character I’ve been playing around with off and on.
“What is it” is an original creation, though drawing heavily from influences of various animals.
A lot of it comes from the Hagfish. The general shape, the “face feelers”, and the pores. The teeth I borrowed right from the Hookworm, as they’re already comical enough in nature. The stubbly little arms I based on the Velvet Worm, though a friend told me just the other night it reminded her of a Demodex. A small mite living in the root of your eyelashes THIS VERY MOMENT!
Some fluff padding between the two space bugs.
Finally got around to working on the HTML for my Tumblr. I’ve hacked and slashed some code up getting a functional template resembling the shear simplicity I’ve had in mind. But have gone completely blank for just what I want the artistic assets to look like.
Doodled this up last night. Nothing final. But perhaps just a little parasite to match the name of the blog. I’ll be trying some other ones as well.
No more Dawnie left in the queue.
